We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, and the breakfast each morning was good. With nearby restaurants, it.
In my wife's opinion, it would be great if they had designated pet areas for walks.

We visited the National Mall and toured the Smithsonian museums. The breakfast with pancakes was a highlight! The hostel's location made it easy to explore, and having a friendly vibe was a plus. I'd recommend this place for budget travelers looking for comfort.
One downside was the bathroom situation. The showers had glass doors. A little privacy would be nice for those who prefer it.

The stay included a well-organized kitchen and the promise of free pancakes and fresh croissants in the morning. The carpeted floors contributed to an unexpectedly clean environment, promoting a feeling of comfort. Some aspects felt off initially, such as leaving shoes at the entrance, which seemed uninviting and raised cleanliness concerns. It's worth noting that despite the positive features, initial impressions can be misleading, and the décor could use some updating to elevate the vibe.

missingWrote a review on 03 Julclean facilitiesfriendly staffgreat pancakescramped spaceflimsy beds
The room felt super cramped, especially with those flimsy bunk beds. Anytime someone moved, the whole place shook. It was hard to get comfortable. The lighting was really dim, which didn't help with the overall vibe. I didn't feel like I had much privacy since the beds were so close together. Plus, the lack of ventilation. Just not the best for a good night's sleep.

I recently stayed at a hostel in DC called Duo Housing and had a fantastic experience. As a larger individual at 260lbs, I was pleasantly surprised by the strong and sturdy top bunk bed that comfortably accommodated me. The sheets were cozy and the room temperature was perfect. The staff was caring, friendly, and always available to assist. The room was quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful sleep. The hostel offered a pancakes breakfast every day, which not only provided nutritional sustenance but also added structure to the days. The free coffee and tea were available throughout the day. The full kitchen was well-equipped and organized, making cooking a breeze. The hygiene standards were impeccable, with consistently clean bathrooms and ample toilet paper. The affordable price made it an excellent value for money. The location was ideal, with everything one needs within walking distance. The best aspect of this hostel, however, is the people. I met fascinating travelers from around the world and formed meaningful connections. The younger front desk staff were also easy to talk to. Additionally, the comfortable beds and lovely decks, especially the one on the third floor, added to the overall positive experience. Lastly, Duo Housing allows guests to store their luggage before check-in and after check-out, making travel more convenient.
Totally recommend this hotel.
